Product layout
  • You can decide how to sort the products within a product category.
  • With [Automatic] sorting option, you can choose one from the twelve options, and the products will be sorted according to the selected sorting option.
  1. 1) Automatic
    • The products are sorted automatically according to the selected option without any manual adjustment made by the admin.
  1. 2) Custom
    • The products are sorted in the order manually assigned by the admin. When you add a product, you can select whether to send the product to the top or the bottom.
  1. 3) Automatic + Custom
    • The admin can assign a layout order to specific products, and the rest of the products will be sorted automatically according to the selected option.
  1. 4) Common
    • The layout settings for the current category will also be applied to the products from the subcategories.
    • When you select the sales volume or the views as the sorting option, you can define the date range.
      1. e.g. When you select [Sales volume (high - low) + 7 days], the sales volume from the last 7 days will be used as the sorting criteria.
    • The sales volume is updated twice a day based on the data collected in [Orders>Analytics>Products].
    • For sales volume, the data update time in [Orders>Analytics>Products] and the data update time for product layout are different. The product layout order may be slightly different from the ranking listed in [Analytics].
    • When you search for a specific product category in [Orders>Analytics>Most sold products], the ranking from this category will be used to decide the layout order.
    • Sorting by popularity on the storefront (sorting by sales volume) sorts the products based on the total sales volume of the product from the entire store, not the sales volume by product category in [Analytics].
      1. e.g. If Product A is included in both Outerwear and Tops, and if 10 were sold from Outerwear and 5 were sold from Tops
      1. • Most sold product categories on admin: 10 from Outerwear category and 5 from Tops category
      1. Sort by popularity: 15 units of Product A will be considered to have been sold.
    • Views shows how many times the product details page was viewed by the customers, and is a real-time data. (Excludes multiple views from the same IP)
Display out-of-stock products
  • The products that are set as [Not for sale] are shown on the storefront as out-of-stock products, hence the display according to the settings for [Display out-of-stock products].
Display subcategory products
  • When you have selected [Yes] for [Display subcategory products], the products from the subcategories under the current category will be displayed as well, and you don’t have to manually duplicate/add the product category.
  • However, when the products from the subcategories are displayed, the layout setting for the current category may clash with that of the subcategories, and the product layout may be displayed not as intended.
  • If you want to fix the layout order, select [No].
